The owners of the Chill Inn are a married couple – he, American, she, Costa Rican -- with two children. They live on the Pacific Coast, about 2.5 hours away.
The on-site manager, Abel, is family. He helped renovate the the old house and convert it into the current structure with 6 bedrooms and bathrooms. The job was finally done in early May of 2018.
Abel lives on the property in the first apartment on the right as you enter. Please feel free to stop by to say hello, or ask him about anything (Spanish only). If you need to speak in English, he will be happy to call one of the owners and put them on the line to translate.
The Little House
The Little House in the back was built about 7 years ago. The family has been using it as a convenient place to host guests going to or coming from SJO. They have also stayed there for weekends, as needed, far from the traffic of the city, while making strategically planned runs to downtown, shopping malls, movies, doctors' appointments, etc.
They hope you will enjoy the great location and amenities as they have.
About the Chill Inn
We’re a guesthouse, located in the countryside, in the outskirts of San Jose, Costa Rica.
We're located just 420 meters from the La Guacima exit off Highway 27, which runs from San Jose to the Pacific Coast. That puts us just 15 minutes from the airport ($5-10 Uber), on back roads all the way, and 20 from downtown San Jose, CIMA Hospital, Multi-Plaza Mall, etc.
